What is March Madness?
In an effort to instill school spirit during a time of year where the students really need something fun to break up the long spring stretch of schoolwork and undesireable weather, March Madness Week was implemented into the semester 2 calendar of West Allis Central High School.  Since the 2002-03 school year, March Madness has been an annual affair, and has grown from a small-scale gathering with pickup games, to an all-school, week-long extravaganza.  The featured activity for March Madness is a Friday afternoon pep assembly showcasing final-round tourney games, 3-point shootouts, slam-dunk contests, teacher vs. students championships, and many community-sponsored games and giveaways!  March Madness has it all - food, music, entertainment, and competition.  There is even a March Madness dance Friday evening which caps off a terrific week of fun!
