March Madness Dance Friday March 7, 2008 7:30 p.m. 10:00 p.m.
Sponsored by PTSA, this informal dance is a great way to celebrate together! The dance is from 7:30 p.m. 10:00 p.m. in the cafeteria. Tickets sold in advance only. Tickets are free for PTSA members or $5.00 for non-PTSA students. The dance features a rockin DJ and pizza for 50 cents a slice! Sign up to join PTSA (they do great things for our school) and go to the dance for free!
DRESS CODE: The regular School Dress Code is in effect and will be enforced at informal school dances. No hats, sunglasses, bandanas or headgear can be worn at the dance. FEMALES: Skirts must be hips to tips. Students wearing short skirts will not be permitted in the dance. Tops must provide coverage: no cleavage, no spaghetti straps, no off-the shoulder tops, bra straps, etc. are allowed. MALES: Pants must be cinched at waist, no exposed underwear. Students cannot wear muscle t-shirts: no exposed underarms or shoulders. Students that do not adhere to the dress code will not be permitted in the dance.
DANCE BEHAVIOR CODE: A Dance Behavior Code is in effect at school dances and will be enforced at informal school dances. Students will be asked to leave the dance if they do not follow the dance behavior code which is as follows: Students must remain vertical at all times. Students cannot lie on the floor, bend over explicitly, or excessively grind each other. Students cannot mosh or leap or excessively run, push, or jump on others. Students cannot kiss, pet, or neck with each other at dances. Groping or inappropriate touching will not be tolerated. Students that appear aggressive or hostile will be asked to leave the dance. All school rules regarding alcohol, drugs, and tobacco are in effect. If a student is asked to leave because of rule violation or dress code violation, his/her money will not be refunded. |
