OUR ENROLLMENT IS GROWING! We love to take part in as many adventures as we can througout the course of the year. Without doing some creative fundraising to finance our efforts, we would be unable to give students the opportunities that they deserve. Small groups are easy to accomodate. As an example, in the 2001-02 school year, with 12 members, we were able to take the school vans and essentially go wherever we wanted with any interested members of the club. We are very proud to have seen interest in the CCC grow dramatically, as the club's roster is now well over 100 students! These numbers give us a challenge, but we are certainly excited to attempt to accomodate these students who value their part in environmental service, education, & recreation!. With the membership in our organization increasing every year, we are trying to obtain the resources and equipment necessary to include as many students as possible for our activities and excursions.
WISH LIST
| FUNDRAISING THROUGH ENVIRONMENTAL COMMUNITY SERVICE We've tried to incorporate what we represent as an organization into our fundraising efforts. Students sign a contract, promising to put in a minimum of 5 hours of community environmental service, and then write letters explaining a bit about the club and their intentions to friends and family members. The students request pledges for their community service hours, and hope that sponsors will see the value of their environmental efforts and choose to sponsor their dedication and work ethic. | Fundraising for the CCC |
GOT IT! THANK YOU!
Fundraising Success!! Students of West Allis Central enrolled in the CCC volunteered over 600 hours of environmental community service last year alone! Sponsorships of our service efforts produced enough funds to offset an abundance of fees for our adventures and enabled us to purchase an enclosed trailer. With all of our equipment able to be hauled via trailer, enough space became available in school vans & teacher vehicles to increase our students' participatory capabilities by 27% when traveling to far away destinations. Thanks for the support! Your financial generosity goes a long way and gets more students involved in our adventures!
