WESTERN CHORUS FROG
Pseudacris triseriata (0.7- 1.2 inches)

Pale green or tan with 3 long stripes running down the back

Habitat - Marshes, wet prairies, river-bottom forests, shrub wetlands, moist fields

Status in Wisconsin - Common & Stable
You'll hear this tiny frog before you'll ever find it.  Its song sounds like you're taking your nail and running it across a rigid plastic comb!
